Cable prices are going up, Satellite TV prices through the two major satellite companies is going up. The only thing not going up is watching free TV online. Cable prices are climbing up to 40% in some areas. And the big Satellite dish companies are offering fewer channels for the pricing points they have. Think about it this way, the big companies got a helping hand from the Government by forcing everyone to go to a digital signal. Requiring everyone to go out and either buy another piece of equipment to hook up to their TV, because the analog antenna they had no longer worked.
